ABOUT

As part of a mini conceptual patternmaking project, this t-shirt was designed using the phrase: "THIS SHIRT IS BLACK". The pattern pieces were cut out from the negative space around the letters in the chosen phrase. By using a sheer white fabric, the pattern pieces were both apparent and yet still unrecognizable from the phrase when stitched together.
